Birthday :o

So on Thursday, (in the middle of the all the drama…) I turned 21! Woo.
Here’s a run down of what I ended up getting… :-)
From my BFF Priscilla, I got Cirque du Freak books 7 and 8… and 7 is beyond awesome. Well, not so much the book (I’m growing a little tired of his narrative style) So then, why is it awesome? Because it’s defective… chapters 7, 8, 9, and 10 aren’t there in their entirety… and I have multiple copies of the prologue, and chapters 1-3. Haha. It’s sweet.
(I bought myself a new copy that had the story… so I know what happens)
She also got me this uber cute little giraffe. (I collect them)
From my sister Kaitlyn, I got this giraffe made from a nickel. She took jewelry this semester, and it’s amazing. :D It’s also really awesome, because she had to put her initials in it, to get a grade, right? Well, with the way that light works, it looks like a < and a 3. :D <3
From my parents, I got a $50 gift card for SuperAmerica. (Gas station, dunno if it’s local or bigger?) And then a $20 gift card to Caribou (a local coffee shop that I enjoy ♥) They were stapled (the card holders, not the actual cards) to a HUGE giraffe plush. He’s like, a super fat large child size. o.o; I shall put him in my car.
Anddddddd that’s pretty much it. Big 21st, eh? XD I got a bunch of Facebook messages and a card from my grandfather, so it’s still cool. ♥
…and I have yet to get drunk. :’( Need time off to get drunk.
There is an open shift on Monday… and I kinda want it… but that’d also be a chance to get drunk…. hmm :-)
Trailers, OMG

How many trailers are they going to make?!?!
OMG OMG OMG OMG the second one there is AWESOME.
We got some new scenes, shots of Zeus, of the campers all dressed up… so much win.
Third one is ugly quality, but aired with the premier of Ben 10 Alien Force: Alien Swarm.
And then we have this. Look at the URL -- “hd-trailers.net”
Yessss, one of them (I can’t even remember which # these are anymore) in 1080p *_*
A wrap-up of Percyness

Sorry that I am so far behind in terms of Percy Jackson news. As my last post kinda described, I had a weird and kinda insane week :-)
First off, here’s a quote from an Entertainment Weekly article about the New Moon premier.
3. Something called Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief is going to be a monstrous hit, because the applause that follows the preview is deafening.
I was seriously pissed, because there was NO Percy Jackson trailer with the showing that I went to. I kept waiting for it, and it never came. I would like to say the trailer is the only reason I went to see New Moon, but that would be a complete lie…
But yeah, apparently one of the (many) trailers aired with some viewings of New Moon…
Some of the movie theaters apparently are giving out little poster thingies with crosswords. You can see a pic of them here at cabinthree.
One of the mods over @ cabinthree found a couple window stickers/poster things for Percy Jackson – you can see the pictures here.
Then there is an awesome article that you can read here that talks about the books vs the movie. We have three pretty different answers.
Brandon: It’s basically the same.
Logan: It’s changed big time.
Rick: Eh, whatever. It’s a different medium. Of course it’ll be different.
Still, an interesting read.
Anyways, here we have a collection of new movie stills. I’m excited for some of the scenes – especially the one at the Lotus Casino. (And even more so when they eventually introduce Nico ♥ On-screen chemistry between Nico and Percy? Yessss) (Another one here)
And ZEUS, we’ll be getting merchandise!!! :D Article here but the important thing is that I will be getting a Percy figurine!! Now I can have a awesome threesome with Peter from Narnia, Jared from Spiderwick and Percy!!
Speaking of toys, I wonder if there is a game planned? No news, to my knowledge. Seems kinda odd…
