And while not Percy/Nico, I found this photo manip pretty cool. The kid reminds me of Freddie Highmore~ never thought of Freddie as a Nico, but it could be doable, I suppose.

So how I found this one is kinda funny. I follow Britney Spears on Twitter, and one of her Bullshit alerts got posted. So I checked it out, and an article about Paul Butcher was the next one of the Bullshit list. Curious, I searched for him…

And found this.

Not normally my type of music, but it’s pretty good. It almost reminds me of the stuff girls would listen to in my youth (Backstreet Boys days…!)

He’s kinda an unknown name too, unless you watched Zoey 101. I didn’t, but my sister did. And so, erm, I kinda learned the characters. *sidelook* So if you watched that… he was Zoey’s little brother! Huh. And now he sings.

Interesting. Paul, I’ll give you a category. Let’s see if we can’t keep up with you as you (possibly?) sing more.

So yeah, I agree with this ad. It’s a really good one, taking a lot of young Hollywood and putting them in an anti-cancer ad… like Logan says in the behind the scenes, educate ourselves.

For those that haven’t already seen, you can read a couple pages of the upcoming Percy Jackson novel on the website.

Well, not really a few pages, since this is a “lost scene” and won’t be in the actual book….

Anyways, I continue to be not-so-impressed with the art. I guess maybe I just don’t care for western graphic novel art in general… and it doesn’t help that Percy looks like 18. -_- Even older than Logan.

Interesting tho how they followed the book’s character descriptions, but the movie’s age…

And on the second page, first panel… god do they look fat.

Okay, I have to say, I was amused by this. I had a chance to see the tweet when he posted it, and was a tad bit confused.

I originally thought that he got hacked. :\

But apparently not. Haha. That’s a LOT of text messages. But I guess the kid deserves it.

And another Bieber thing – slow down U Smile 800x and it’ll turn out REALLY cool. I haven’t had a chance to listen to it fully yet, but it’s really pretty from the minutes I’ve listened to. :)

As we get closer and closer to the date (WHY IS IT NOT OUT YET?!) we get more and more stuff for Narnia. The most recent was one of the official posters! You can see it to the left. Click for a BIG version :)

I’m kind of surprised how little focus they’re putting on Eustace. There was very little of him in either of the trailers, and he’s not on the poster anyways. They seem to be capitalizing on the old characters (Peter and Susan aren’t really even IN this one!! But yet they’ve been prominently in the trailers…)

It’s kinda interesting, because… well, I dunno. I guess it makes sense money wise. When they do Silver Chair, it’ll probably focus mainly on Eustace, and not so much on Jill.

As a bonus, I found this cool poster which is also from Dawn Treader.

OH. If you guys didn’t already – check out Aslan’s eye on the first poster! :) See the boat? Yesss, that is what makes that poster so awesome, at least in my books.

And when I was searching around for those, I totally found an awesome Prince Caspian foreign poster. It’s the one on the right. :)

So, a few minor music notes that have popped up recently.

First off, we have the cover for Selena Gomez’s new CD, which will be entitled “A Year Without Rain”. I think we would love that here in the midwest, as we have had nothing but rain this summer. It’s either been rain or 95F with dew points in the 70s. Eww eww eww.

The first single (I think, at least) from this album was Round and Round. I didn’t really care for it… nothing tops Naturally though. I absolutely and utterly ADORE that video. :)

CD comes out next month, so I’m sure that’ll be something to budget for! :)

In other news, Jesse McCartney has finished his fourth album. (!) I’m not all for his music style, but god, it’s worth buying for the pictures! :P No word on when it’ll be released.

But! But! We did get the music video for Not That Far Away. I sadly missed it when it aired because I don’t get CMT or Nick. (glares) But thank God for the wonder that is YouTube. Check it out!

This plug-in also allows me to just have it appear on news posts – not on pages. Which is a HUGE relief, as I no longer have to manually set it. ^_^

So, I guess EW gets to find out where the split it. WUT.

It’ll be chapter 24 – where good ole Voldie gets the Elder Wand, breaking open Dumbledore’s tomb. That’s kind of an interesting spot to split, but I guess it make sense in a way. The book/movie is the Deathly Hallows, so having it end at the acquisition of a hallow… sure, that makes sense.

It’s a really pretty song, and I’m excited for the video. It seems like it’ll be an interesting video, and actually make SENSE with the song.

(I wonder when Nathan will start singing? The other two have…)
