I remember
We used to laugh
But…
Now we don’t

I remember
We used to smile
But…
Now we don’t

I remember
We used to giggle
But…
Now we don’t

We used to be different people
Different than we are today
Whatever could have happened
To such innocent children?

You look at me
A look of hatred appears
You hate me now
I don’t know why

When we were children
We would laugh and smile
But now…
I only see hate

Your eyes
Such a deep green
Which used to hold friendship
Now hold hate
