Percy Jackson movie trailers

So I come across the Wikipedia page for the upcoming Percy Jackson movie. I must admit, when the news first came out, I was leary. Especially when I found out who the actor for Percy was… Logan Lerman. See, I don’t know him. I can’t say I recognize stuff from his filmography. (I did at one time see Hoot, but it’s been forever, and I have no memory of it. I’ve always wanted to see Butterfly Effect tho)

He’s 17, and in the first book… Percy is 12. That’s a bit of a jump, especially since during the next few books, he grows. I am very curious how they plan on making 17 year old Logan look like he grows 4 years. :\ (Oddly enough, both Logan & Percy are born in 1992 XD)

BUT! See the title. I just watched the trailers. (Trailer 1 is rather bland, trailer 2 is pretty nifty though) Logan doesn’t look *too* old. I’d say 15ish. I figure they might just try and condense the 5 books into like 2 years, instead of 4. Or maybe change the “chosen” age to 18 instead of 16.
