Yo sabia

T/N: It’s been forever since I’ve done Spanish. I hope it makes sense. Also, please note that it’s been forever since I did Spanish and parts are most likely wrong. But I loved the song too much to not attempt. It’s from the Argentinean version of High School Musical: El Desafio!

Yo sabia (I knew)
Fer and Agus

Yo sabia que existias aún sin mirarte
Y esperaba conocerte para preguntarte
Si soñabas conmigo igual que yo
La respuesta me la dio tu corazón

I knew you existed without having ever seen you
And hoped to meet you so I could ask you
If you dreamed with me the same answer
That your heart gave to me

Yo sabía que serias así sin mirarte
Te cantaba las canciones que siempre escuchaste
Yo te llevo conmigo en mi ilusión
y te doy para siempre mi amor…

I knew that it’d be like not seeing you
Singing you the songs that you always heard
I’ll carry you with me in my dreams
And give you, forever, my love….

Vamos a cantar que algunas veces hace bien
y nos podemos conocer (conocer… mejor)
Vamos a cantar que tengo ganas de saber
como es estar un poco más, un poco mas… los dos

We’re going to sing that sometimes things are good
And we can know eachother (know eachother… better)
We’re going to sing that I have things I want to know
Like how to be a little more, a little more like… two

Aunque el mundo, nos separe igual voy a amarte
para simpre en mi vida yo voy a llevarte (yo voy a llevarte)
Porque el tiempo que llega nos unirá
y la historia que soñé seré real

Although the world seperates us, I’ll love you
I’ll carry you for my entire life (I’ll carry you)
Because when the time comes, we’ll unite
And the history that we dreamed will be real

Vamos a cantar que algunas veces hace bien
y nos podemos conocer (conocer… mejor)
Vamos a cantar que tengo ganas de saber
como es estar un poco más, un poco más… los dos.

We’re going to sing that sometimes things are good
And we can know eachother (know eachother… better)
We’re going to sing that I have things I want to know
Like how to be a little more, a little more like… two
