Narnia continues to tease us…

DATS Image Upload

As we get closer and closer to the date (WHY IS IT NOT OUT YET?!) we get more and more stuff for Narnia. The most recent was one of the official posters! You can see it to the left. Click for a BIG version :)

I’m kind of surprised how little focus they’re putting on Eustace. There was very little of him in either of the trailers, and he’s not on the poster anyways. They seem to be capitalizing on the old characters (Peter and Susan aren’t really even IN this one!! But yet they’ve been prominently in the trailers…)

It’s kinda interesting, because… well, I dunno. I guess it makes sense money wise. When they do Silver Chair, it’ll probably focus mainly on Eustace, and not so much on Jill.

As a bonus, I found this cool poster which is also from Dawn Treader.

OH. If you guys didn’t already – check out Aslan’s eye on the first poster! :) See the boat? Yesss, that is what makes that poster so awesome, at least in my books.

And when I was searching around for those, I totally found an awesome Prince Caspian foreign poster. It’s the one on the right. :)

Second Narnia trailer

Has anyone else noticed how impossible it is to keep up with new trailers and stuff? There doesn’t really seem to be a central source that you can go to if you want to just see new trailers as they come out… ugh.

I mean, for Harry Potter, I just follow MuggleNet on Twitter. But I don’t really know of a good Narnia twitter to follow or anything…?

Anyways, here’s the newest Voyage of the Dawn Treader trailer. Is it Christmas yet? ♥

Dawn Treader

Is it Christmas yet, mommy?

This year I don’t want lots of presents. I just want to see the new Narnia movie! Set to come this Christmas, Voyage of the Dawn Treader is by far one of the best Narnia books. (Second only to The Horse and His Boy, my personal favorite of all) It’s not an actiony one like Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe or Prince Caspian. There really isn’t a lot of fighting, it’s more of a character exploration – like any good book is.

The main character that gets worked on, though, is barely even shown in the trailer! Eustace. You hate him at the beginning, and absolutely LOVE him by the end. [SPOILERALERT]Especially the dragon scene.[/SPOILER]

You can see the trailer here. Maybe this should be my next countdown…
