Percy/Nico in House of Hades

So I just finished House of Hades.

Four years ago, I called it.

Percy/Nico OTP 4ever.

I will be updating the LIST soon.

Well.

The Cupid scene made my heart break a little lot. I feel so bad for Nico. :( Need some fanfic to mend my heart.

All Time Low

This is a low kick to the nuts.

Since I have started this blog (yes, STARTED) I have had 3,000 more visits to the Percy/Nico page than I have had to the homepage.

WTF.

:(

Want some Percy/Nico?

Well, I’ve got some. I spent the better part of the night going through fanfiction.net, livejournal… trying to catch up on all the Percy/Nico that I’ve missed!

You can view the full update here. =D

I haven’t had a chance to go through pjo_xchange yet, so there are probably MOAR Percy/Nico to add, but that’ll have to wait.

I also want to toss out that Only One Leads to You is my favorite story from the update. I’m a huge fan of the abstract-type of stories, and that just made me squee inside.

And for your reading pleasure, a few Jake/Logan fics. :D

And please, make the author of this story continue! :( Was very interesting read until it ENDED…

Two more months :(

So, it looks as though Darke was pushed back… or we had the wrong (made-up?) date to begin with.

Instead of April, we’ll be getting Darke on June 6th! That’s so far away!! Wahh.

But hey, it’s not too bad. At least it’ll be out before we finish up the Harry Potter movies! :)

If you haven’t read it already, the Darke synopsis was posted a while back.

If you guys didn’t know, I actually got MEET Angie Sage awhile back. She’s one of the most amazing people ever and was so nice as to sign my ENTIRE collection of Septimus Heap books! :)

So I’m really hoping she does another tour for Darke and that I’ll be able to see her again… and then again for the 7th book. She’s really worth driving the 9 hours to Chicago. ♥

Fandom Stuff!

So, a few quick fandom things, since I know everyone noone cares about the stuff I post. :)

To celebrate the release of The Lost Hero, MortalNet is giving away some stuff.
MortalNet will be giving away signed hardcover copies of The Red Pyramid, paperback copies of The Lightning Thief or an audio copy of The Last Olympian to lucky winners.
Cool, eh?

In the spirit of Percy, I came across this blog post (which also links to my Percy/Nico list ♥) and they have a foreign cover(?) of one of the books! It’s also a review of the series.
If you use Google Translate to translate the page, it’s kinda funny. :) Google thinks that Nico is Nick! O_O
But the cover is cool enough to look at the page :)

There’s been a lot of talk, I guess, about one of Nick’s new shows – Zevo 3 – and how it’s basically a half-hour ad for Sketchers. I dunno, but looking at the trailer, I have to agree with Nick’s side – I didn’t even NOTICE Sketcher’s stuff plastered all over. Not nearly as bad as Nike in You Again. =o=

And for you HP fans, there are some great posters out right now encouraging people to read. (No, I’m not talking about the awesome HP7 posters) There is one for each of the trio, and they’re holding different books. You can read about it on this tweet.

I wanna win one, but they’re gonna do tomorrow’s contest while I’m at work. :’(

Darkeness Approaches

Well, at least in the Septimus Heap world! Book 6 is due out April 8th, and we finally have the synopsis for it, thanks to the Official Septimus Heap Blog.

In the Darkely fantastic penultimate book of this internationally bestselling series, Septimus and his friends find themselves attempting the impossible as Septimus begins his initiation into Darke Week.

Septimus is on the threshold of his fourteenth birthday, which falls on the shortest day of the year. While everyone celebrates and the Castle is lit with traditional candles, Septimus has greater concerns on his mind. He has finally reached the period in his Apprenticeship known as Darke Week. During this crucial time, he hopes to undertake the very dangerous mission of restoring Alther from Banishment, following the attempted invasion of the Castle of Syren. But while this preoccupies him, other Darke things are afoot in the Castle.

How exciting is this? I can not wait for Darke! I have to note here that Half-Blood Prince is my favorite (by far) Harry Potter book, and Battle of the Labyrinth is my favorite Percy book… I guess I have a thing for penultimate books. So… that means that I am extremely excited for this, because it’ll likely be my favorite book. ♥

I feel a need to bug @jedi_amara on Twitter to finish my Magykal.net layout. :3 Use the Tweet button if you want to help remind her!

Updates to the list (only art)

Sorry, but only art updates this time. But it’s a whole new section! :)

Will try and get fics updated in the next week or so. Life = @_@, at least until Monday…

Click the dancing Neko!Nico to get to the list. Dancing Kitty Nico is from Yoru-Tsukiyomi666.

Neko Nico

And while not Percy/Nico, I found this photo manip pretty cool. The kid reminds me of Freddie Highmore~ never thought of Freddie as a Nico, but it could be doable, I suppose.

Percy Graphic Novel

For those that haven’t already seen, you can read a couple pages of the upcoming Percy Jackson novel on the website.

Well, not really a few pages, since this is a “lost scene” and won’t be in the actual book….

Anyways, I continue to be not-so-impressed with the art. I guess maybe I just don’t care for western graphic novel art in general… and it doesn’t help that Percy looks like 18. -_- Even older than Logan.

Interesting tho how they followed the book’s character descriptions, but the movie’s age…

And on the second page, first panel… god do they look fat.

Narnia continues to tease us…

DATS Image Upload

As we get closer and closer to the date (WHY IS IT NOT OUT YET?!) we get more and more stuff for Narnia. The most recent was one of the official posters! You can see it to the left. Click for a BIG version :)

I’m kind of surprised how little focus they’re putting on Eustace. There was very little of him in either of the trailers, and he’s not on the poster anyways. They seem to be capitalizing on the old characters (Peter and Susan aren’t really even IN this one!! But yet they’ve been prominently in the trailers…)

DATS Image Upload

It’s kinda interesting, because… well, I dunno. I guess it makes sense money wise. When they do Silver Chair, it’ll probably focus mainly on Eustace, and not so much on Jill.

As a bonus, I found this cool poster which is also from Dawn Treader.

OH. If you guys didn’t already – check out Aslan’s eye on the first poster! :) See the boat? Yesss, that is what makes that poster so awesome, at least in my books.

And when I was searching around for those, I totally found an awesome Prince Caspian foreign poster. It’s the one on the right. :)

Harry Potter Split

So, I guess EW gets to find out where the split it. WUT.

It’ll be chapter 24 – where good ole Voldie gets the Elder Wand, breaking open Dumbledore’s tomb. That’s kind of an interesting spot to split, but I guess it make sense in a way. The book/movie is the Deathly Hallows, so having it end at the acquisition of a hallow… sure, that makes sense.

The article that it came from is actually really interesting too. You can read the full thing (err, the first 5 pages) on MuggleNet.
